Tokarov TT 33 Magazine Safety

I just got a Yugoslav M57 and it has a magazine safety. My Russian 1942 Tokarov does not have the mag safety but the question is could it have been removed. Does anyone know for sure if the TT 33 was produced with a mag safety. Thanks

No, magazine disconnect was a Zastava creation.

Just break it - it's a spring bellow the left grip panel, right above the trigger bar, but do consider that it does not affect the trigger pull. No Tokarev pistols (either TT30 or TT33) were made with magazine safeties.
