How are you using the clamore pouches? Are they slung on your body like a bag or what? I've always had the worst time thinking of how to carry extra shells without using a full chest rig such as a vest or body armor set up.

Where are you guys getting Claymore bags?

I loved the M-18A1 super short barreled single shot single use "shotgun"

30 meter wide three meter high pattern at 30 yards to dense to walk through.

Shot still Mach two or so at that range.

Don't get much better than that.

Hurt your teeth setting them off up close though.

I had understood that they no longer issue them though as though originally designed as a command detonated mine they are easily converted to something left behind and nasty, usually involving a trip wire.

On the other hand, for a small unit trying to break contact, a claymore stood up on its legs with "FRONT TOWARDS ENEMY" on the enemy side of a stout tree and with a 15 second pull fuse pulled as the last man leaves was a wonderful thing to "abandon."

Slung over like a messenger bag. It's what some guys did in Nam. I get mine from ebay.
