For those of you not familiar with this system;
Bought one for my 1300 set-up. The instructions indicate to place the rear sight 20" behind the front on the rib. Ok, well that would place the sight where the barrel begins to contour up towards the receiver. So I emailed Hi-Viz for the scoop, and within an hour got a responce, thought that was great customer service.

The angle on the bottom will not cause a problem but you can move the rear closer to the front. We designed the sight to work at a distance of 16" to 20" depending on barrel length.
