I just swapped out turrets on my 6-month old Lyman T-mag press; changing from 32H&R Magnum on one turret to a new turret for 45-70.
I notice that my new turret doesn't line up as well as the first; the centerline of the die bore doesn't precisely line up with the ball detent in the turret head. This causes the turret to rotate minutely to align the case in the die bore.
Neither of these questions were addressed in the Lyman pamphlet that came with the press; and there was no info whatsoever with the new turret.
I have searched the site for a similar thread, but haven't seen it. If this is a rerun, my apologies.

Is there some set-up process needed to index a new turret to the detent?
Is there some specified torque for the center bolt?
