Flayderman's 8th ed. says 1908-15, about 15,375 total mfd. Barrel lengths were 4", 5", 6 1/2" and 7 1/2". Supica's book has similar info on them. Apparently there is not too much available on production breakdown. The shorter barrels appear to be less common.

www.smith-wessonforum.com is a good place to check around--try the search function for TLs.

All of the original New Century (triple lock) revolvers were made on Smith & Wesson's square-butt N-frame. The most common barrel length was 6 1/2 inches but they were made in 4 and 5 inch lengths. Excluding those made for the British in .455, the most common chambering was .44 Special, and the gun was designed around that round.
