Well...I finally moved away from the plunger and toward the correct part of the slide - the bushing. :)

How about I give the answer and you give the problem? :D :D

A: Broke plunger spring, cause by crack that developed from too much force when putting that kink in it that is needed.

Go......

By golly I am going to get this plunger deaile out of my system one way or another... :p

I just have to say the thing I admire the most about the Tuner is his ability to get someone to answer the phone at the Colt Factory. I have only been able to do that three times in 20 years.

Call 1-800 Colt

It's 'cause they got caller ID...They KNOW who it is.:D

I've never had a problem gettin' customer service on the phone.
If I can get a line open to Cindy, it's a plus. She's a delight!

Call from a pay phone Dave...They can't ID ithe number.:p

Cheers!

Tuner

I think you hit the nail on nthe head, Tuner! They must know it's me! I will try that pay phone trick if I ever need to call them again. The last time I called the Custom Shop they had a gun on my front porch in 10 days to replace the one that was stolen out of the musem in Victorville. I think that was Silver Screen Legend III part 2. It turned out pretty nice.
