Trying to decide on my next CZ...

...and i think i want a P-07 Duty

anyone here have one and would like to share their thoughts? is the P-07 built to the same quality standards of the other CZ pistols? any problems with the front sight backing out?

The P-07 Duties that are being made now are excellent. The first batches had some problems though. Do some fondling with the firearm before you take it home. Make sure your mags drop free from the frame. Also, if the dealer will let you, take the slide out of the frame. Some of the early production models have overly tight slide/frame fit that led to the slide shaving some material out of the frame. Not a big problem, but worrisome to people that didn't want their gun to every show any wear. Even with the new trigger system, it still takes some break in to smooth out the trigger... just like any other CZ ever made.

My P-07 runs like clock work... just wish the mags weren't so expensive. I set mine up to run thumb safety instead of de-cocker since that's what I'm more experienced with.

It's like no other CZ I ever shot. Quite accurate, but the grip on mine is a little "harsh" , need a garment between skin and gun for concealed carry.
