I heard about this rifle from one of the shooters at my club who owns a Tubb 2000. It looks like a great kit if you already have a Remington 700 action.

Yeah, the price increase is already in effect. You're talking $5500-6000 for the rifle, sights, sling, to get it ready to shoot. Once in a blue moon, they show up for sale used on the highpower boards, but they don't last very long.
If you're on a budget, you could always build a MAK or Eliseo tube gun.

In fact, there's one for sale now at Nationalmatch.us - no word on what caliber and barrel length, though.
