Anyone use this ammo?If so,whats your opinion of it.I just need some for range time and I found a good price.

Thanks!

That's why I am asking!Aim has great pricing right now and I have an M1A.Range opens in 2 weeks and I need a 308 fix.

It doesn't have a particularly good rep in M14/M1a circles. A lot of people say run steel stuff in russian guns. Some run it in FALs/M1As fine. I wouldn't run it in mine. The Tula .223 runs fine in my mini-14 though. So far.

hmm. Wolf .308 seems to work fine in most semi-autos from what I've heard, in that it doesn't short stroke. I think I'll convince my dad to get a case of this stuff because he's been looking for a semi-auto .308 for a while now.

I'm currently running a batch of 500 through my Cetme. It functions fine; not actually too dirty compared with the other Russian option (the Bear family). However, it is very mediocre accuracywise....In my experience, the Bear ammo is better (even though its very dirty and stinks!), so I'll probably go back to that.

I bought 500 rounds of Tula .308 from AIM at $119/500 sight unseen although I've used the .223. Have run many flawlessly functioning rounds through my PTR-91 with no problems whatsoever. Fairly accurate for what you're paying for. I was getting 1.5-2MOA with iron sights off an improvised rest.

If I could, I'd buy every round off of AIM surplus at that price.
