IIRC, plates start officially falling at 10:00 AM. (I've been tardy the past few times.) It does pay to come in earlier as parking gets very tight by that time.

Me = black Varmint Hunter's Association Life Member hat.

Ranges used for the shoot are the three starting from the far left.

I should be there somewhere between 10-11am.

Oh, and I would recommend not wearing the m*ch*g*n hat, cause I'll be the one wearing OSU pistol attire.

Well, I didn't see you there Quack. Today was definately a small turnout, so we got TONS of shooting in. I got to talk to hksw and plateshooter, but I think that was it as far as the TFL/THR crowd.

I didn't make this one either, unfortunately. Had fun at the last one with hksw and 3gun, but I was busy installing my new gun safe today.

Tom - Did you have any burps (or hiccups) with that new Tupperware today? ;)

I believe that the next "fun shoot" is the last Sunday in September, then there's also one in early November. We should plan ahead to make one of those an "Official Ohio THR Get-Together."

The November date works better for me, FWIW.

From what I understand, the plate shoot for this month had been set for next week at the beginning of the year but was changed to today. Not everyone got the memo so a low turnout. It was fine with me as the wait to the firing line at the rifle ranges was at most two teams deep. My CETME got pretty hot very early tot he point of not being able to be held at the forearms after just three ttrips to the firing line. Turnaround was so fast the gun couldn't cool down. Had to switch to the AR for a couple turns. Towards ~2:30 when it thinned out, shooters were going back to the firing line as fast as we could load up mags.
