I used to have one of the 7 1/2" versions of that revolver. Good shooting piece but not one I gravitated to reguarly. The hammer never came under my thumb the way I wanted it. My hands a re different than yours.
They are nice looking revolvers and certainly were well made.
The Uberti's are fine guns, you'll enjoy it. I've got my eye on both a fire blued/case hardened Cattleman .44-40 and an 1858 new army cartridge converted model .45 Colt to accompany my Stampede.
