Hello,

I just received a 1862 pocket police blackpowder revolver from dixie gun works. However, it does not say "imported by stoeger industries" on it anywhere....and the website is different for the two companies.....www.uberti.com and www.ubertireplicas.com How are they related?

Does anyone have any idea what the difference is here....The box says uberti replicas.....are they the same gun??? I don't want to pay for an uberti and get a cheap knockoff of a uberti

Thanks....

A. Uberti-Stoeger Ind.,Uberti, and Benelli USA and Stoeger Ind. are the same Corporate Companies...
You have a authentic Uberti Replica Firearm. And congradulations good choice.

All Uberti makes are replicas of 19th century firearms. There's no such thing as a replica of a replica. Regardless of whether the box or barrel say "Uberti", "Uberti Replicas", "Stoeger", etc., it's all made by the Uberti company.

Uberti also makes firearms sold under many other brand names. I have Ubertis that are marked "Navy Arms." I've had others marked "Uberti USA", "EMF Firearms", "American Arms", "Cimarron Firearms", etc. They're all made by Uberti.

Above posters are right.

First off, the previous guys are right. Secondly, you ordered it from DGW. I've used them for years and have never had a quality issue with them. Shoot, you can even return an item just because you changed your mind!

And who says you can't get peace of mind by dealing with reputable companies?

You got a real Uberti. Enjoy it. .36's are good shooters, too.
