Am looking to get long barreled pistol for shooting out to 100 yds. in one of the .22 calibers.
Has anybody had any experience with these Uberti pistols?
Sights? Action? Trigger? etc.
Thanks.

I had one in .357 for a few years. It was well made, with nice wood and good bluing. The trigger was only fair, but I was able to use it. The sights were usable but small. I was starting with "old eyes" then so they gave me a little trouble.

The chamber on mine was quite tight. It was fine with factory loads but not easy to use with my .38 or .357 reloads. Most of those cases had been reloaded at least four or five times. That might not be a problem with .22 rimfire ammo.

I sold the gun to get another that I liked better. I don't do that much, but haven't really missed the rolling block. It turned out I wasn't very happy with the action type either.

HTH.

I recently bought a Uberti Colt 1851 Navy revolver. The bluing is good, but the brass grip frame and trigger guard weren't very well finished, and the wood and its finishing are of mediocre quality. It's a wall hanger, not a shooter, so I can't tell you how well it performs.
