Upgrade sights?

Who has upgraded to an aftermarket high visibility sight? I need recommendations, I want to put better sights on my P345. I dont know if I should go with tritium or those neon looking sights I saw at the gun shop the other day. Or maybe something else that I dont even know about yet lol. Thanks guys.

Meprolights are avaliable now, for the P345, not sure if any others are. Kimber sells um

All my serious stuff now gets a set of Heinies (not night sights) with a gold bead front sight insert. I've tried all kinds, this set up is the best I've worked with.


Its 100+ year old technology and crafting. You can find articles and stories where guys who did serious business with guns had those put on Peacemakers, and it still works great. Jim Garthwaite really has made a resurgance of sorts installing those. Its on the American Handgunner anniversary 1911 gun he made for them. He showed me the article last week. You can't see it well, but I wouldn't overlook it if you're considering sights.
