Used Sig P220 ST Questions

I'm new here. This is my first post. I'm also kind of a newbie to autoloaders, although I do have a beretta 96 elite that I've had for 5 years and love. I've always been a rifle and revolver guy. While at my local gun shop this week I saw a used Sig P220ST ser#G335xxx in the case for $450. A friend of mine has a blued 220 that I have shot and I like it. I thought this was to good of a deal to pass up so I now own a P220 ST. The gun is extreamly clean and well taken care of. I belive it has a after market trigger. Like I said I'm kinda of new to autos, and I'm not really sure what I should be looking for in a used auto. It also has a green recoil spring which I have heard is for +p ammo. It shoots like a dream and recoils less than my .40 s&w.

Does any one have any tips on what I should be looking for in this gun to determine its condition? The price just seemed to good to me. or is this what one would exepct to pay for a used 220st.

Welcome to THR! P220s are excellent weapons. Very reliable and accurate. $450.00 sounds like a good deal for an ST. You're going to enjoy it.

Well.......Ive loved the guns. One of my customers wanted a holster for his ST and loaned me his gun for a while......telling me "Go shoot it! K!".........OK
I couldnt get the money out of my wallet fast enough when he came by and offered me the gun for less than 500$........I kept the holster too.
You got a very good deal................enjoy it. Shoot well.

I got this gun from a shop that is not known for their good deals. So I just wanted to know if I should be looking for somthing wron with this gun. Buy the way what holster do you use for your 220 ST.

I have a galco leather holster that keeps it close and easy to conceal under a shirt. I also have a KelTec paddleback that is comfortable but requires a bulkier shirt or coat to conceal.
