Ditto. Though not as bad lately since the economy tanked, back in 04-08 there were tons of californites moving into AZ and then immediately grousing about the gun laws. They all received a resounding "TOUGH ****" when bringing up the issue. Since then, the laws have only gotten better with the expansion of castle doctrine to personal space, vehicle, and the addition of a deterring display provision to prevent an attack. No longer does display = brandishing = automatic jail. Bravo AZ!
OH, most important of all: The burden of proof is now on the state to prove any laws were broken in a self defense shooting, instead of the burden of proof being on the defensive shooter to prove her way OUT of a conviction.
