Has anyone kept up on the Vepr after market furniture options? I'm sure there's some new stuff out since the last time I looked around and was wondering if someone could share some links. I had pre-ordered a stock/forend set from another place but after 6+ months of waiting they refunded me citing mfg issues in the delayed release.

I'd just like to trade out the furniture on my Vepr 7.62x54r to lighten the weight a bit and not risk messing up the pretty wood it came with when I'm out in the woods.

Thanks!

I'm just looking for something lighter but still tough while I'm in the brush. The ATI option is what I tried and had been waiting for because I really liked the idea of being able to just sling it behind me and not worry about accidentally hitting the hot barrel while out in the brush (which I've done by mistake before) after shooting at say multiple coyotes for example.

I thought I saw more options out there but its tough to keep track of all the vendors latest and greatest. I did see however MI has a quad rail for them and I have MI rails on several of my rifles and have had good luck so I may go that route. Also may just opt to get the slant adapter to open up my stock options. Either way any suggestions appreciated.

If you want a folding stock bonesteel makes a nice one that's much higher quality than the ATI, or you could go for the slant back adaptor and use an ace style stock or any standard fixed stock with a little modification to fit the adaptor.

You might as well just trade the whole thing in for an mp10. Kidding aside you would be hard pressed to beat an ace sidefolder. I would just keep the wood forearm and use a decent black grip from kvar.
