When I was looking for a CCW gun, I ended up trying to compare lots of guns to eachother. Eventually I got the LCP. It gave me the idea to make a web application to proportionately and visually compare guns to eachother. Check it out and let me know what you think! :)

Super site and it offers a great comparison tool. Please add to the database as you have time. I put it in my "favorites" list.

nice job. it would be nice to be able to turn them so you could compare width. a useful tool no doubt thanks!

An excellent idea! It's one thing to read the dimensions of a gun. It's quite another to actually be able to see the difference.

Thanks I'll try to add more guns. There's so many guns out there, not all have a clean white photo.

I bookmarked it. Looking forward to seeing more guns added. This will help choosing my first carry gun when I turn 21 in a few months.

To add width and other views I would need photos for them. Most gun companies have only one photo that I can use. To get all the views I would have to own or borrow every gun and photograph them myself, which is way too expensive for me :)

What a cool site. Hope you can find a way to add more. Thanks for putting the time into it.

Very nicely done. Great to be able to visualize it all. Makes my P3AT not look nearly as tiny compared to the G27 as I thought it was.

pretty neat.... the comparisons are great.... but I did notice the flips are mirror images rather than actual flip comparisons....

with a larger library of guns to visualize I would definitely recommend it to most everyone who has difficulty deciding on CCW.

and there needs to be a width comparison. A glock 27 for instance, though it is not much larger in height and length than, say, and lcp, it is MUCH wider.

Very NICE!!

I think you did a great job. Its a good tool to have just to do an inital check.

I looked at the G27 next to the G36. I've been thinking about both, now I know not to even bother with the 27 WAY to small for my hand. I've shot the 36 and that is small enough!

Thanks! :)

Sent PM for quality pics of what i own on pure white backround to help grow this great idea.

this site is pretty cool, I could use this to help me find a ccw for my wife. bookmarked, can't wait to see more guns listed.

lcpman, have you tried emailing the companies for photographs, you would think for a site like this they would be more then willing to get the photos you need so that they could show off their firearms.

excellent site, keep up the good work

Well it's been a long time but I have worked really hard on the site. I now have over 1000 guns with images, not all perfect of course. You can do an advanced gun search, list manufacturers by their logo and show all the different calibers. More options to be added later. I hope it's useful to people, please check it out!

Before the link connected me to the comparason site. Now it connects me to a gun store with no link to the comparasons that I see.

Hi what do u mean you see a gun store? Just click the "Start Searching" button on the homepage or on the side panel to get started. I link to my friend's site DelmarvaGuns, but the site itself is not a gun store. Here is a good example of what you can do with my site, this the Ruger LCR vs Ruger LCP:

Use the mouse and keyboard to zoom and drag, guns are proportionately sized with specs:

Simple lineup, again guns are proportionately sized:
