Can someone tell me what to expect to pay for a case of 20 ga promotional shells at Wally World.

The 100 round boxes of either Federal or Winchester run $16.99 here. It is the same price for 12 or 20 ga

edit..forgot to mention....

Add sales tax and ammo tax....makes the total $19.01 out the door

Expect to pay more as Walmart increased all ammo few weeks ago. Its all over the other forums.

The Winchester promo shells (1275 fps) were $3.97 a box at Wal Mart before Christmas. They are now $5.68 a box. I found some Winchester Super Target (1200 fps) at a gun shop for $4.50 so I bought 20 boxes. They aren't going to get any cheaper.

The promo shells (Win and Fed) went from about $14.99/100 to $24.99/100 in recent weeks at my local Wal-Mart and surrounding WMs. :uhoh:

Not any brass or copper in them at all... I guess the price of lead finally caught up.

I bought my Remington 12g shells at walmart for $2.88 a box. I found a coupon on the Internet from academy I think right before dove season and walmart price matches. I bought a little under $300 worth and My Uncle bought the last of it

I get to cheat. The Remington Arms ammo plant is down the highway, and their range there sells ammo at factory direct prices.

Gun Club goes for $3 a box, nitro/sts for $4.50

Mind you, this was a month or two ago. I reload, so I don't get out there to get ammo all that much.
