I bought a used Winchester '94 30/30 today at a local gun show. Paid $360 for it. The price tag on it said it was a '55 model. The rifle is in about 95% condition. Blueing is in very good shape, so is the wood. No buggered up screws. A very well maintained rifle. Got home, looked it up, and it was actually made in 1954. I have owned a Marlin 336 for years, and I love it, but I always wanted a pre-'64 '94. Kind of a departure from my usual "assault rifle" buying. How did I do on this deal?

I'd say you did pretty good, especially if it's one you like. (What's not to like in a '94?
