Overall, not a bad overview. Some factual errors, but they're minor. Writing is a little stilted.

I don't find Mike Cumpston's writing stilted, and enjoy his articles. I wish they made it into magazines more often, so that people who don't frequent computer forums could enjoy them. His work is often what should be appearing in gun magazines instead of excessive features on the latest nonsense cosmetic variation of the M1911.

Thanks there Lone Star. A guy a know got " fairly well written" from his english teacher on a paper he copied right out of a text book. I have several reference books on the M&P and none of them are in perfect agreement. -I'll guarantee there are some factual errors in just about everything I write.

Lone Star Just caught your answer on the " want to be a gunwriter" post. You've been pretty kind to me on these articles and I believe I remember the letter you wrote to handgunner about that 60-4. That was the first one I landed in a really good mag. You said you write knife and gun articles for one of the mags. Fill me in a bit:
