Some days ago, I posted that I was debating on either a 9.5 inch Superredhawk or a Bisley Superblackhawk. Thanks so much all for the beautiful pictures and the insightful input into my personal debate. My reasons for choosing the SRH do not in any way reflect unhappiness with the SBH, it's just that I do already have a 10 inch SBH with Hogue rubber grips and a rear aperature sight, with a hooded front bead sight I modified from a Marlin 1894. An absolutely fine shootin iron that puts it's shots where I aim them with amazing regularity. The SRH would be not just a variation of a weapon I already own, but rather a completely new animal to me. The long length of my arms (37 inch insleeve) makes the scoping of a SBH problematic as the barrel scope mounting system stretches the eye relief of any pistol scope to the limits. The SRH however mounts a scope on the frame, saving me a few inches. Hence my decision. Again thanks for all the input.
The price of a new SRH 9.5 inch is $517 plus tax where I shop. Is this good folks?? Thanks again.
