Hello everybody, just felt like sharing my .32 Caliber Wheel guns on this fine WGW evening.
Over the last year I Have been very impressed with the .32 caliber family. I first discovered them from watching luckygunner videos on YouTube and decided to give them a go as I was looking for a mild shooting EDC piece that was more reliable than a .22.
I was lucky in being able to quickly locate the 2” Taurus 327 at just a little below MSRP and was also able to quickly locate the whole family of cartridges at my local gun stores. It performed very well and shot .32 S&W short, .32 S&W long, and .32 H&R magnum beautifully. .327 was a bit much for the little guy and my accuracy with the snubbie tanks with that round. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that the Taurus 327 has no problem digesting .32 ACP, a reoccurring quality of each of these revolvers.
After deciding that .32 H&R was the sweet spot in this family I decided to give the Charter Arms Professional a try. It quickly became my favorite gun once I figured out it shoots a little low and how to correct for it. I have had no problems with this firearm, and it is the favorite of several of my recoil sensitive friends. So far no one has had a bad time shooting .32 S&W longs from it. I carry it as my EDC loaded with Hornady Critical Defense .32 H&R magnum, and Buffalo Bore Hard .32 H&R magnum +P Hard Cast Keith while back packing. Well I did until I stumbled across the final wheel gun in the photo.
My revolver collection has long been missing a Ruger in it. I have S&W, H&R, Taurus, Heritage, Charter, and even a Diamondback, but until December of 2022 no Ruger was to been found that I felt really stood out as an example of that company’s flavor. Enter the Lipsey GP100 in .327. The smoothest shooting, most accurate revolver I have. It turned those little sharp .327 pain pellets that my Taurus shot into mild delights. .327 is such a pleasure to shoot from this revolver that I quickly and confidently swapped it in for my backpacking sidearm. I guess an extra 20oz of weight over the Taurus snubbie will do that. It has however confirmed my suspicion that all of you out there carrying that S&W 327 Performance center snubbie 8 shot .357 magnum as your EDC like to live a spicy life.
finally with all the .32 ACP I had floating around I felt it was only proper to pick up a little pocket pistol that could really get the most from it. And who knows, now that I got a threaded .32 caliber pistol, maybe I gotta find a .327 Henry and get it threaded too.
