I grabbed 2200rds. 7.62x54r,and another vault to be able to stash the over flow thats leaning against sevaral corners. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Ditchtiger
I've been wanting another good .22 revolver, so I picked up a used S&W Model 18 this week. 4", six-shot, blued, P&R'd, nice. With box and papers and a decent holster.
I bought myself a brand spanking new Marlin 336 in .30-30. It fills a hole in my collection that can only be filled by a lever gun in that caliber. My collection felt incomplete without one.
got rid of one pistol, two shotguns & mini 14, picked up Tarus 24/7 in .40, Kel-tec P-11 & first EBR- Double Eagle M4gery. Stuff I wasn't using for stuff I was want'in. Merry Christmas to all.
Actually just got home with some of it . A new pistol case and rifle case . Both from my dad . Really nice cases and really suprised he got them for me . Usually it's a gift card and "get what you want" . Needless to say , will always have these 2 cases .
Lol missread title thread . missed the "for you" part .
Well, I got a Ciener .22 conversion kit for 1911s, and I got an old Beretta model 948 on layaway, another $75 and it's mine, and a friend found a set of crimson trace grips (LG 305) for a hundred bucks, used, and will sell them in turn to me for same.
This is all in one trip to the gun store, by the way.
Usually I'm pretty frugal, but I really wanted a conversion kit, and the prices on the other two items were too good to pass up.
Well, to answer your question I picked up a solid 96 per cent factory
nickel COLT Lawman Mk-III with a 2" barrel. According to ProofHouse.
com the serail number places its DOB as 1976. Price was right too,
$225 OTD. It makes a nice addition to all three of my COLT D-frames.
BTW, I will try to have pics posted shortly after Christmas Day.
Yes giving is better than receiving, but if you can do both at once - why not! So yes I biught myself some Christmas gifts. First off I picked up a bottle of Glenlivet, tha came packaged with two rocks glasses engraved with the Glenlivet name. Then I picked myself up a bottle of jagermeister with a pewter shot glass that looks like a deer's head - very nice. Finally, I picked up a large sized Lava Lamp. So when i chill out with the Scotch or the jagermeister, I can watch something totally mind numbingto help enhance the effects of the booze.
I didn't intend getting anything but I stopped in the local small gun store for a coffee and to shoot the bull. As I came in the manager said, "Have I got something to show you".
I left with a National Match Rock Island Arms AR and a Skyy 9mm.
I'm thinking about stocking up on some cheap guns, just to up my numbers... I'm thinking SKS, Mosin Nagant and a Hi-Point carbine. I still come out for under half the price for an AR and I have 3 times the guns.
Santa is usually me, but he bought an old Mauser carbine off Auction Arms and a Swede off Gunbroker. Both yesterday. The Mauser is the same caliber as the handloads for my deer rifle.
You guys are going to like those K31s. And Merry Christmas to anyone who owns a gun.
I ordered a 5" Wilson Protector pistol with stainless frame and black side and also a Mark Garrity holster for it. Hope to get the pistol by early Feb and the holster by mid April. They may be my birthday gifts instead of Christmas gifts.
