If you guys like Quigly Down Under you'll love Valdez is Coming It has more detailed Sharps shooting than any movie. Burt Lancaster is good in this role.
"Out of Africa" is an unexpected gun movie. I was watching it again for the first time since the 80's and was amazed by the number of fine doubleguns. The rifles actually play a key role in several scenes.
Some neat guns from that era, but I couldn't get over the weirdness of a Civil War movie filmed in what was CLEARLY no mountain range in this continent. It looks like it was somewhere in Count Dracula's turf. Weird pointy black mountains. Nowhere near the actual settings for the book.
Enemy at the Gates, hands down. 7.62x54r all the way. I swear a bunch of Mosin Nagant collectors raised the money for that film, and by the way, how come they didn't invite me to play!?
