Favorite

Carbine - Mod 94 in 30-30
Handgun - 1911 in 45ACP

Hey I was publik skooled in the South, "pair" , "pare", and "pear" downright confusing. You mean this stuff is supposed to use the same ammo...? :p

The only combos I have are......

Beretta NEOS or Ruger Single Six w/a Ruger 10/22

Ruger Vaquero .45 colt w/a 1894 Winchester clone

I would like to get one of the Ruger Blackhawks in .30 carbine to go with my M1 Carbine but, my wallet has kept me from doing so. :(

This thread needed pictures

Here is my combo, Marlin 1894c and either S&W 13 or 586 half lug.

right now it is the T/C G2 rifle in 375JDJ along with my SSK Industries T/C pistol in 375JDJ......I had a Marlin 1894 44 mag with my Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 mag earlier..........

I wish someone would make a carbine in 500 S&W.

IINM, check out Wild West Guns. I believe WildAlaska posted a thread recently about just such a beast that they were working on.

Back to the topic. My combos:
.357/.38:
Puma 92
S&W 686
Taurus 85

.45 ACP:
Marlin Camp .45
Volunteer Arms Thompson clone
S&W 625
RIA 1911A1
Para-Ord P14-45 LDA
P/O C7-45 LDA

.22 LR:
10/22
AR-7
Keystone Arms Crickett
Lorcin .22
Heritage Rough Rider

Hey, Red Tornado,

I just saw an encore in 30-06 at my local dealer's place last Friday. It comes with a .50 black powder barrel and an extra grip/stock that essentially turns it into a rifle. (I don't know much about the encore/contender guns, can you tell?) I'm wanting to say he wanted about $1100 for the whole shootin' match.

The store is Trent's Rental Center in Jonesboro, AR. He's on Davidson's dealer list. Just use zip code 72401 in their dealer search.

I just cannot imagine firing a 30-06 in a pistol. Much as I like guns, I don't want to become permanently attached to one at the forehead.

Man, lots of Sub2ks out there. Add mine, paired with an XD9. Trying to find a 357 SIG combo now.

My Marlin 1894C along with either my Ruger GP-100 with the ivory/hardwood combo grips or my S&W 586 with wood grips. A single action revolver in .357 Mag would fun, too.

:)
Since Marlin stopped making the buffers for the Camp 45, I decided to back up the Marlin with an Olympic Arms PCR (Politically Correct Rifle - as it was called during its birth during the recent ban) in .45 ACP.

It looks like an EBR, and came with a 10-round mag made from an old Uzi mag & some steel wlded to fit the slot in the bottom. They are not making any more mags (so they tell me) because they could not get more Uzi mags to work with. I'm waiting on 2 mags I sent to them to be converted.

In the meantime, I can tell you that the combination does a wonderful job of demolishing post-Halloween pumpkins (carved and uncarved), as well as putting gallon baggies of water into use as wide-area irrigation devices.

I am not worried about the difference in magazines between the carbine and the pistol as much as I want to avoid carrying 2 sizes of ammunition. If the SHTF, I can strip out of one mag & load into another easier than fumble around trying to remember which mag holds what size.

Stay safe.

Marlin 1894c & s&w 686+ = .357 Mag
Marlin M70 & Ruger Single six = .22lr

Nothing cooler than walking the woods with a rifle in your hand
and a matching pistol on your belt.

NEF in 45/70. Pedersoli in45/70. Magnum Research BFR in 45/70. The ground needs to be solid to pack them around.

Marlin 1894 and Freedom Arms 97, both in .357 magnum.

Ruger PC9 and Sig P225, both 9mm naturally. I intend to buy a Ruger P95 to go with the PC9, commonality of magazines and all. I will keep the Sig P225 (and the Kahr K9) :D

Ruger 10/22 Magnum and several Ruger Single Six revolvers with the mag cylinder.

Browning BuckMark rifle and Ruger MKII. I am thinking about selling the Mark II and buying a BuckMark pistol. Again, commonality of magazines.

I'm another Beretta man: Desert Storm Commemorative 92 with a 9mm Storm. Wife has a Neos pistol, and I'm looking at getting one of the Neos carbines...

Now I've got a question. If a carbine is a long gun in pistol caliber, and "pistol caliber" is defined as "a caliber used in a pistol", does that mean we can now chamber a carbine in .50bmg and 600 Nitro Express?

So far....

Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt - Rossi Model 92 .45 Colt
Ruger MKII .22lr - Ruger 10/22 .22lr
Glock 19 9mm - Kel Tec Sub 2000 9mm (KT coming in soon)

I would like a Marlin 1894c in .357 magnum to go along with my Ruger GP100, or maybe Khar Thompson to go along with my springfield 1911.

Well the only pistol/rifle combos I have in the same caliber are .22's.

A Ruger Mk2 5.5 in bull barrel and a Marlin 995 with a Weaver 1.5-4x scope.

Makes for a fun day of walking around, plinking.

I'd like to get my hands on a Marlin 1894 CB in .44 mag, to match my .44 mag Vaquero.

And who wouldn't want a Tommy Gun (or semi-auto SBR) to match their 1911? :D

Mine: Marlin 1894 and Ruger Redhawk in 44 Mag
My son's: CZ Scout and Ruger Bearcat in 22LR
