I have ordered 7 or 8 from them all have worked well at a good price.

My M1S kit is great, went together fine and shoots well. The catch was the wait time - I ordered in early 09 and it took almost 8 months to receive my order. They told me about the wait time up front, and their price was well over $100 less than anywhere else so I went with them. In the end it saved me even more because the price went up $75 between the time I ordered and when it shipped (they honored the original price without me even asking). Hopefully they are getting caught up on their orders, but my experience was positive and I would buy from them again.

waited for 8 months??? i would expect no more than 1 week for me. i couldn't wait that long..

I ordered a complete upper and the lower parts kit from them back before the rush. Took about a week to get it and i decided i wanted a different upper so i called them up and they told me to just send it back with a note, recieved my new upper about 5 days later. Customer Service was great. I love mine. Got the 24" Varmit upper with 1&8 twist. It'll shoot sub-MOA all day with good loads and a cheap scope

I've bought from them twice and have been generally pleased. I think Model 1's E.R. Shaw barrels are top-notch, and I've never had any trouble with the upper receiver, sights, gas tube, etc. I thought that the basic plastic handguards on mine were a little loose, but I've seen that on other makes and they can be easily replaced anyway. The big thing is, if you're looking for a truly complete upper (i.e. with a BCG and charging handle) you can do much better by purchasing these elements separately. The BCG I got from Model 1 was functional but was not properly staked, chrome-lined, etc. Similarly, the charging handle seemed a little flimsy. I later sold these parts to a guy who knew what he was getting and was only looking to build a super-cheap AR15. I took that money (plus a little more) and bought a Daniel Defense BCG and LMT charging handle from other sources. I'm much happier with that setup now.
