The poll should have maxed out the use of all 20 available/possible allowable options. Should have included rounds like the .32, .25, .22lr/.22wmr, etc. Then again, it could have accounted for those of us who carry two different calibers.

Eventually I'll say 9mm & ?? everyday.

Probably would have had more 9mm if it wasn't for the various gun bans everywhere that caused a proliferation of compact 45s.

Americans still have a soft spot in their hearts for the grand old caliber, I tell ya and would go for it if at all feasible.

I was a 40SW convertee in the mid-90s but as soon as I could, I went back to the 45ACP for daily carry. Now in my old age, I prefer 9mm or even 380ACP on my own time.

Coromo, I explained why I went the direction I did. Looking back I wouldn't change the way I structured it other than perhaps leaving out the 44. If you don't like it, make your own poll.

I haven't gone anywhere today, but I drove to work with a .40. My serious carry gun is a Kimber CDP Ultra, and sometimes an old beat up Colt L/W Commander, both .45s, but I am just as apt to go out with a .22 Mag or a .32 Auto.
