Well as I posted in this thread http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=466958 I have broke my adjustable stock. The stock and matching furniture including the Aimpoint cover are black. If I replace the stock with a black one I need to change nothing. However I have for some time wanted to change the color of my furniture and decided not to in the past due to the costs of the adjustable stock now I have to replace the stock anyways. So what color if any should I go with I currently live in the desert of New Mexico but I won't always reside here.

I voted to keep it black, but in all honesty, get whatever you like best. It can always be painted.

Personally though, I think guns that are two tone just look kind of goofy, so I personally wouldn't go that route unless I was going to save some decent money.

I personally like FDE.

But you need to swap out everything.

I'd stay with black but gotta' admit to being weak for OD. I spent my formative years in the green machine.

How you getting along with your Vltor stock, Crawfish? I just changed one of my carbines to a Vltor and while I like the lefthander's cheekweld it brings I think I'll be losing those little rubber compartment caps sooner or later.
