I bought a used Ruger Single Six .22LR/.22WMR convertible. I also ordered some ammo online.
Edited to add: I almost forgot, the .32 bore brush which is what I originally stopped at the gun store to get in the first place. At least, that's what I tell myself.
I traded a scope, mount, rings, and ammo for a Marlin 39A, and I made a deal to trade my Marlin 1895GS for a Beretta 96 Inox, 6 magazines, and 3 holsters.
Finally bought a gun "safe." Actually the Granite Security RSC that Sam's Club sells. Just about perfect for me. Heavy as hell. Had a hard time getting it into the house. 2 neighbors helped. Well, at least one. I was pulling it up one step at a time with a reefer dolly, while "they" were sorta lifting from the bottom. At the last step I ran outta gas. I had nothing left and saw the thing falling on me. At this point I thought I was done-I was going to maybe wake up in a hospital several hours later. I found a new burst of energy and yanked, while at the same time my neighbor gave a final heave. Up it went and practically slammed down on it's bottom in my living room's vestibule. I think my willingness not to die and my neighbor's last push might have saved my life. Needless to say, we took him and his wife out to dinner.
This past Saturday I put a down payment on an order for a CZ452 Ultra Lux, my 8th CZ rimfire rifle (including the one I got for my dad). Hopefully it'll get here before the weekend for me to try out and possibly replace my 452 Training Rifle for O-Class at the CMP games at Camp Perry (if it isn't over 7.5 lbs) on the 22nd. Ordered an Automation Solutions adjustable sear for it yesterday from Brownells.
