Well my job has changed since the last time I posted, I am actually now a welder at a large high end semi-custom horse trailer manufacturer. I have more time to shoot and more money to buy things to shoot.
6-7 days a week he's a commercial truck technician, licensed safety inspector and occasionally a commercial truck driver. 3 days a week he's a college student finishing a BA in applied sociology.
I love my job, I never know what I'm going to be doing. Just finished fabricating a new exhaust manifold and 5" straight pipe for our 1958 Allis Chalmers dozer.
Going along with the buy American thing, I drive a 2004 Dodge Cummins turbo diesel, check out www.dieselram.com if you're into that sort of thing.
I'm unemployed but I needed a job so I found a woman with a job.
Actually my wife makes 3 times what I make so I stayed home and took care of our baby while she worked. I'm not a fan of day care where they care more about you paying them than your kid.
Now my kid is older and starting kindergarten so I started restoring classic Ford Mustangs for a living. Ever try turning the clock back on 40 years of rust?
Well, I've done all kinds of things in my relatively short life (26y.o.). I have built airplanes, sold sporting goods, law enforcement, was a fishing guide in Alaska for two years. I have two college degrees in Forestry, and now I'm going to school to be a gunsmith...
Funny... thread was dead since March and of course, a Jarhead comes and digs it back up!
BTW, welcome to THR jarhead79!
Me... I'm in antiques. Funny, 'cause I'm only 22. Couldn't care less about antiques, it's just where the Good Lord has me for the time being. Also a full time college student, and a full time father.
