What do you guys think about Toddler shooting mother...?

Did you guys see this? Do you guys think it's really possible for a toddler to retrieve a handgun, aim it and pull the trigger? I mean I guess it depends on the gun but take a SIG P220 for example you have to really want to pull that trigger for it to fire. Them if you have a gun with a safety the kid would have had to figure out how to turn it off as well. I mean I agree that leaving the purse so close was not very bright but it just seems like it would be difficult to me for a toddler to pull this off. But then again I haven't been around a lot of toddlers most of my life.

This is just a tragedy. A freak accident. If this happened every day or every week we might be able to wring our hands or find someone to blame... This is just sad. And this won't stay open long.
