What gun do you want but always put it off and buy something else

the gun I always want to get is a .44 mag S&W 629. I keep putting it off because I live in california and buy semi pistols and rifles just incase i cant buy them at all anymore in the near future. I figure there is enough time to get a revolver and I want to get what I am able to since more and more guns are not becoming available here because of all the testing and stupid laws on small pistols and semi pistols & rifles.

I keep putting off buying a Ruger Blackhawk .45LC/.45ACP convertible.....because I haven't been able to find one!! I go into a gun store looking for the convertible, don't find it, and take something else home just because I'm there. I've bought 6 guns that way so far........

A nice Parker DH in 20 guage. I've run across a few, but the only reason I put it off is my pockets were always light. The last one had me counting my pennies really hard, but there just wasn't of them laying around to cover the $5000 price tag.

Please, don't carry on with the "oh but you can get a such and such upper and a kit and bla bla".....bottom line after tax, goodies, slings, mags.....

Barrett M82A1. Of course, the reason I put it off is the only time I have that kinda scratch up, I'm plunking it down on a vehicle, because the last one died..... Otherwise a Mosin Nagant PU Sniper, because I can buy 5-10 regular Mosins for the same $$$.

I am the same way about the AR as Bainx is. Not that I dont think it will be worth it, but I can buy a few guns for the same price!

On a side note, I would like to have a Glock 26 OR 36

I have a baby coming next month, so the gun fund is out of commission for a while. (Its a girl and I am gonna make her a shooter!)

My heart tells me to go out and get a really shiny stainless steel Deset Eagle in .50 AE and a Dirty Harry style S&W .44 Mag (model 29 I believe).

My brain keeps telling me "hey stupid - they cost too much, the ammo costs too much even if you decide to get off yur lazy butt and reload and the recoil is just too much for yur little hands to handle more than 4 or 5 shots at a time"!

My wife keeps saying "ya want it - go get it"...

Theres a pair of S&W model 610's at my gunshop. Been there about 1 1/2 years now. I love those guns. But being a rifle guy, i always tell myself that i can get a rifle and a scope for what i'd cost me for both pistols. Oh well, maybe i should just get one of the pistols and be done with it.

Granted, it's only been about 4 years now, but I want a Colt Python. I just love the look.

For my job, I get a requal bonus every two years. My last one, after tax, was right around $1000. I talked to the wife about using it on a Python, and all she said was this:

'Babe, you do what you think is right.'

ARGH!!!!!!!! So, she got new tires, and the rest went into our house down payment fund....

but someday...I'll have a Python.

Ruger Mark II Government with a bull barrel. I've wanted one for years but can't seem to buy one.

The other thing I need, really need, is a real gun safe. I have a metal gun cabinet hidden in my house. But every time I have money to buy one I buy another gun. I guess when my cabinet is full I'll have to buy a safe so I can buy more guns.
