Age 5, a daisy BB gun for Christmas. Next morning, I put a BB through the neighbors window from the back porch.

Age 8, a H&R 410. First time out in the field, after two practice shots. I shot a rooster.

On my 21st birthday I bought a SW model 28 6". $121.97 I carried it as my duty weapon for several years.

High Standard 12 Ga Flight King Deluxe. What a P.O.S.! Last time I listen to that cousins' recommendations! Traded it off and bought an Ithaca Model 37 ,12GA. Still have the Ithaca model 37 today. That was in the early 1970s'. Not counting the Daisy BB gun from the 1950s'.

Either the Winchester Texas Ranger commemorative that my father bought for me when I was born or the Stevens 311 in .410 that I got for Christmas when I was seven. Or maybe I was eight? Something like that.

My Uncle gave me a Winchester Model 42 for my 9th birthday (1964). Probably 50,000 sparrows met their maker via that gun. I see they are going for about $1100 now. Wouldn't think of parting with it.

Westernfield 5 shot bolt action .410 that I received for my birthday 46 years ago. I love to shoot it and it still looks great.

First gun was a AMT380. It was stolen over 20 years ago and I never had an urge to buy another until recently. The first recent purchase was a S&W642. Then the bug bit, and I have bought a SR9C, P22, and a LCP. Have a few more in my sights, also!

Crosman 140, then an old friend of my Dad asked me to take care of a rifle (1890 Winchester WRF) 'until I see you next' he died a few days later, then a Marlin 55 bolt action 20 Ga. I still have them all.

First gun was a Stevens Model 34 bolt-action .22, given to me by my parents for my 12th birthday in 1968, and I still have it. And it still shoots like a dream. Great for those lazy days of range shooting at 100 yards for practically nothing. Total relaxation.

As a teen I had owned a couple of quality pellet rifles and a reproduction Hawken-style muzzle loader , but the first modern firearm I ever owned was a first generation Glock 17. I've still got the gun, although I really need to get the original night-sights replaced, as the tritium has long since lost its luminescence.

Remington Modle 514,single shot .22 rifle.A gift from my mother for my 16th birthday. As I remember she said it cost 29 .00 brand new.We were so poor she had to make payments on it.I still own it today after over 50 years and is my most prizes rifle of all. biker

A Chipmunk .22 when I was 5 years old, followed by a Browning BL-22 with a shortened stock when I was 8. Lots of good memories with those two guns.

The first gun I ever bought and owned was a Heritage Rough Rider target model. It has seen well over 10000.22lr and about 400 22mags and not missed a beat. Not the prettiest pistol out there but definatley a shooter. I would never get rid of it.

My first gun was a Remington 121 purchased by my Dad in 1948 and I was 12
I was just cleaning it yesterday and it has two small notches behind the butt stock pistol grip for my two first squirrels like my Western Heroes always did.
The first gun "I" bought was a Colt Woodsman Match Target which I love to shoot

First gun given to me by my father in 1964 was an old Hoban .22 boys rifle.
They kinda looked like a small Mauser replica with the bolt action and front band to hold on the fore piece.

Still in the back of the gun cabinet.

Remington Nylon 11 .22, the bolt action clip fed version of the Nylon 66. I got it for Christmas in either 1961 or 1962, and yes, I still have it. I may catch it for calling it a "clip", but that's what we called them then, and that's what I call that particular magazine now.
