What is the last gun that you bought?

Last handgun: Rohrbaugh 9s

Last gun of any kind: RRA AR w/ a 16" lightweight chrome-lined bbl.

Both were lightly used. The Rohrbaugh cost more than the RRA.

Last hand gun was a Swiss Made Sphinx AT-2000S with stainless steel frame and blued carbon steel slide.
And yesterday I pick up my Ruger PC9.

Winchester model 70 Super Grade in .270, with Leupold 3x9. My local dealer bought a group of guns in an estate sale, and had a good price on this setup. I don't believe the deceased owner ever fired it, but I plan to rectify that. Abby the wonder dog says it's not a pheasant gun, what good can it be?

Most recent gun?

Century Arms WASR-10. It's ugly. Despite Century's reputation though, everything is straight, and I've had no problem whatsoever yet.

My last 6 handgun purchases have been four .22 Ruger MK II's and two Pac-Lite uppers...

All the MKII's get VQ triggers, sears and extractors...

Goin' back to the rimfire after years of shooting centerfire exclusively. Not that the 38's, 44's, 9's, 357's, 45's & 10's are going unattended.

My last rifle purchase was a .22 Henry pump...fun little thing...

S&W 442 with an Uncle Mike's Sidekick, Size 0. Report to follow...
----- start short report -----
Fired 150 or so rounds through the 442, today. About half of 'em were weak-handed, off-hand shots. weak-hand: ouch. Need to practice weak-hand shooting a lot more. Off handed, strong-hand shooting: went a little easier. Firearm performed well. Shooter.... well....shooter needs to get out more. |:-/ The Uncle Mike's size 0 Sidekick: Not for me: does not stay open (no surprise), does not retain the firearm securely enough for my taste. The 10 rounds of carry ammo that I fired was the smoothest shooting and smoothest emptying. The Wolf aluminum-cased target rounds were not a quality experience. The brass target rounds were not bad, but produced more recoil than the the carry rounds. That was surprising. Once I got some tips from the local instructor, things went smoother. The notion that this is short range weapon is well understood, now. :)

Safe shooting.
