Not "knife", knives

CRKT M16 "Big Dog" 4" tanto blade
Kershaw Ken Onion Blackout
Soon to add:
Cold Steel Vaquero Grande in winter (in jacket)
Cold Steel Black Talon
Cold Steel Ti-Lite (Ti-Lite is going to replace Kershaw. Black Talon is going into jacket pocket.)

Benchmade AFCK, great though it weighs down my pocket.

Kershaw Chive, love this little knife. Don't know its there until I need to cut something.

Leatherman Wave, carry sometimes, rarely use anything besides the edged tools.

Kershaw Ken Onion Blackout (plain edge, assisted open) It's a great knife. Got it at a gun show at $30 less than MSRP

Soon to add:
Colt commander fixed blade double-edged boot knife w/ nylon sheath and tactical shoulder harness (only for high-risk situations where the possibilty of needing it is high)

I know since I'm under 18 its illegal, but who cares about a the possibility of a misdemeanor if it could possibly save your life. Plus I'm a Boy Scout, so that makes a good case for me.

Still the large Sebenza and the Commander.

I haven't rotated carry knives for giggles in almost a year. (Well, I sometimes carry my Onion as a "barbecue knife" to social events like gatherings of the THR Tennessee Mafia...)

Combat-Wombat, truly, avoid the double-edged knife in Cali. A single-edged will do plenty, if not more. Just so you know, here's what you can expect if caught with an "illegal" knife in Cali. like a butterfly or "dirk or dagger":

First, they will arrest you. You will go to a holding cell and sit for a couple hours while they get ready to inprocess you. You will be fingerprinted and get a mug shot taken. Then they will fill out a detailed description of you. Then since you're a minor, they'll call your folks to pick you up and you'll be issued a citation for a misdemeanor. Looks just like a ticket you get for a traffic violation (it's out of the same pad.) You will lose the knife. After that, you get to play musical courtrooms where you show up and they reschedule your hearing again and again. Then, your whiz of a public defender will tell you to plead nolo contendre. At that point, the judge will slap you with a $400 fine for carrying that knife and sentence you to a year's probation. If you violate the probation, you get to spend some time in county jail. All this over a knife.

Do yourself a favor. Get a CRKT M16-04Z "Big Dog" tanto-blade folder. You can zip that thing open so fast, your eyes will bug out. And it's easy to keep sharp. Blade is 4" long. And it's legal.

I've been carrying the Boker along with the KISS PECK as a money clip. The Boker is very trim and fast-opening. Nice knife.

For most of the last year, I've carried a Microtech Amphibian rightside.

I carried an Emerson SOCFK for awhile to see if I liked it. I really liked the wave, and I think the knife is a huge improvement over the CQC-7 I carried some time ago, but it is not nearly as useful a blade or substantial a knife as the amphibian.

Lately, although I haven't gotten the clip switched appropriately, I've been carrying the SOCFK on my left pocket... the draw is a little goofy, but the wave still functions pretty well.

When hunting or when I'm feeling particularly old-school, I carry a custom Mad Dog 3&3/4 inch fixed blade on my belt.

Gerber EZ-Open in pocket

it's my 3rd in two years (the others dissappeared)

it's comfortable in my hand, sharp, quick-opening and inexpensive to replace ($20 at Academy Sports).

This isn't an actual photo of mine, but I do have a GB just like the one in the photo. (Bottom one; tanto blade)

:D

Used to be my little 2.5 in. closed Old Timer Pal. This weekend I went to the Rock and Roll Marathon where the finish line was at the MCRD training base in San Diego. Well, I had to go through a security check point and the magic wand detected my knife. So I take out my little pocket knife in front of a dozen or more Marines with M-16s and say, "This?" "Yes, in the trash can sir" Oh well

S&W HRT in Watch pocket or back pocket next to wallet.
Left front, Victorinox Officers model Swiss Army knife
Right front, Old timer single blade lock folder

Leather man super tool left rear sometimes

CRKT Point Guard with the 3.5" blade, half serrated. Left front pocket clipped on.

I *love* this knife, especially since it was $45 :)
