What lube to slug the barrel

I have a new Marlin 1894 44 Mag and am going to slug the barrel using a #8 lead sinker.

What would be the best lube to use to ensure that it does not get stuck?

Try STP or it's generic store brand. Works great for a case lube and should work for slugging a barrel.
