I love cheap ammo but not cheap ammo that does not fire. The .223 worked flawlessly in my converted Saiga and the 9mm runs fine in my XD. I also have a Bodyguard 380 that REFUSES to run Tulammo. Sometimes I would have to pull the trigger 2-3 times before it actually hit the primer hard enough to go off. :banghead: Anyone else have this problem?

Tryed the 9 mm once and that was enough.. 4 or 5 out of every magazine failed to go bang

I'm upwards of 200 rounds per gun.....zero problems.

Love the Tula!
.380- Kahr P380, Ruger LCP, Browning BDA and an FN 1922
9mm- Glock 19, 17, 17L, 26, Beretta Cougar, Kahr PM9 and three Browning Hi Powers.
.40- Glock 23
.45acp- Colt Combat Commader & Gov't Model
.223- Colt AR 15

That's weird that the .380 worked for you...maybe my BG 380 has a soft hammer fall????

Functions fine so far in all the guns I've tried it in:

.223, 7.62x39, .308, 9mm.

I'll buy more when its the best price. Seems like its pretty much Wolf in a different box minus the red sealant around the primers.

Haven't tried the .380 as the Wolf .380 has been the most problematic in my small .380s Kel-Tec, P238, & TCP just don't work with it, Bodyguard .380, LCP and our large .380s are all fine with it.

223 in several ar's
308 in a dpms ap4
9mm in glocks, Kahrs and xd's
40 cal in glocks, berettas and XD's
45 in glocks, Kimbers and colts

It has fed just fine in everything I've tried it in. Not the most accurate out there...but definitely fine for range fodder, plinking and practicing running drills.

I've run the 9mm, .45, .223, 7.62x39, and the .308. It all generally runs fine for me, but it wouldn't be extremely unusual for a round or two to have a hard primer, compared to US-made stuff.

Tried a box just a couple of weeks ago... One Tula round out of 50 failed to go bang in my almost new (about 800 rounds so far) M&P .45 compact. Still, given the price at WallyWorld, it's OK stuff for the range.

I've tried 9mm, .45acp, 7.62x39, .223 and they have all functioned perfectly. It's a bit dirty, and not loaded as hot as the Federal I usually use, but it's good stuff.

steel cased ammo only works in certain guns. You have to try them and see if they work in your particular firearms.

Most euro and american pistols have a hard time extracting steel cased rounds because of the poor extractor designs.

You have to remember that rounds like the 380acp, 40sw, and 45acp don't have any case taper. They are more likely to get stuck than rounds like 9mm.

I usually shoot reloads, but I go through a few cases of Wolf/Tula over the winter when I can't find all my brass in the snow. Most of my guns will eat it without problems, I can recall a few light primer strikes in a 1911, but not bad. I wouldn't want to trust my life to it, but it is decent plinking ammo for the price.

9mm, .45, 7.62x39, and .30 carbine have all served me well. A little dirty, but I've never had one not go bang.

Tula 308 150Gr will shoot 3/4 MOA in my Rem 700 at 100yds. Yes, I was shocked too.

The only complaint I have with it is that it smells a little spicy compared to domestic ammo.

My favorite is probably the 7.62x54R. Its nice finding cheap non-corrosive ammo.

9mm run great in my sig
45 run great in my glock

Never had a single issue with either

I've always been told not to run steel cased ammo in my pistols as it can cause the extractor to break. Any truth to this?

I've heard this, as well. Will it cause premature wear? Who is to say? I've ran a couple thousand through my glock and about the same through my AR and I haven't noticed any unusual wear. I'll need to replace the extractors one day sooner or later regardless, and given the cost savings...a $15 extractor won't upset me.

Of course I'll save more money if I break down and start reloading and avoid buying off the shelf stuff, anyway.
