What was your first revolver?

I honestly believe it was a 4" Colt Python, in 1971, that I saved weekly for and paid for at a pawn shop that had guns. They didn't mind the "payment plan", and I usually came in with $25-$30 every weekend. I think the gun was about $240 back then. I had had several semi-autos before that (P38, Browning HP, and S&W 39), but never a revolver.

Astra 357 with a six inch barrel that I bought when I was 18 (with my dad signing the papers). I still have it but unfortunately my job has kept me overseas most of the past 20 years, so I haven't shot it for a long time. My current house gun is a police trade in S&W 15-3 that shoots like a dream.

Ruger Single Six Convertible/.22LR & .22Mag Cylinders

Exceptionally accurate with both cylinders which seems to be somewhat unusual.

Bought it from a high school bud who really needed to sell it right away.

Thanks, Steve ... still shoot it.

First revolvers were a couple of Roy Rogers cap guns with a double holster rig.
First autoloader was the Man From U.N.C.L.E. P-38 conversion.
