Hey all,
Here i am in a dilema. A buddy of mine who has no interest in revolvers slipped in on an amazing deal that was supposed to be mine. A freedom arms model 83, must be an early one- serial number df 6xx. Its in great condition with a 10" barrel, he paid $700. Crazy cheap. He regularly runs low on money and said when he needs some funds he will sell it to me (i assume for what he paid). He is a carpenter and winter is coming so i expect in a couple months i'll be hearing from him. The dilema im in however is i have been saving and planning on buying a bfr in 500 jrh in january (when im allowed to buy a gun- once a year). So if you were me would you wait it out for the FA or just go ahead and order the bfr? I'm on the fence, always wanted a FA and know i wont find one that cheap again. It's a tough one.
