I found a safe manufacturer that is making round safes. I'll have to get my literature later to remember the company. The new Winchesters are very nice. Bushmaster took me to supper last night.

taurus had some new pistols but i didnt look to hard at them, of coarse the lcr was neat but felt a little cheap and toyish. I played around with the fn scar for a bit.Glock had a newish line of pistols that had a ruffer texture on the grips and a different cut on the slide. I got to meet the gunney, jim shockey, tom knapp, jerry miculek, amd I saw jeff quinn from gunblast but didnt speak as he was talking buisness with some folks.
Its been a long day and im sure im leaving out lots of things so if anyone has questions about what was there ask and I can see if I can answer them.

looking at the gunblast reports, it looks like GSG is making a 1911 style .22, and taurus introduced a single stack compact 9mm and .380. Charles Daly also seems to be importing the Israeli "BUL" pistols.

Oh, and VLTOR is making a copy of the Bren-Ten.

I would like to make it to the show sometime. That would be pretty cool !!

would be kinda cool to be bitten by Todd Jarrett...

just on the off chance super-human shooting skills are passed like lycanthropy instead of hours and hours of practice every day for years and years and years

I don't see why biting Todd Jarret yourself couldn't work any less effectively...

That "Ring of Fire" flashlight system for ARs is HILARIOUS.

I'm also thinking the Trijicon Mini Red Dot (or whatever silly acronym they come with) would be awesome on that sight leaf mount on my AK.

Pendleton Safe Company showed off the new round gun safes. They are also producing rotating pistol safes as well. More information about the revolving firearm safes can be found at http://www.pendletonsafes.com/

Candiru,

Just finished looking at the threads you've posted and a big THANK YOU goes out from here.

Have to admit that one item on the Day III thread made me more than a little nervous.

Can ANYONE explain why law enforcement would need a fully automatic 40mm grenade launcher? :uhoh:

Why suppression of an unruly mob, of course! It's for the children.

Hell, it won't be long before LEOs have access to armored vehicles, full auto weapons, helicopters, sniper rifles, and mounds and mounds of on demand, instant profile data collected without a prior arrest or transgression. :what:

Wait a sec.......

Thanks for the detailed reports. I can't help but wonder if politics was a major topic of conversation.
