What's the Wife Unit carry?

Taser C2 (in purple, with hot pink carry holster).
Daughter carries the Kimber Guardian Angel spray.

They can't carry at work or at school, but the spray is legal at their places of employment and at the school. Not the best solution, but they do have SOME protection.

Wife carries Guardian .380. She is very happy with it. Light and concealable.

9mm Beretta Cougar. (Yeah, I know - it doesn't start with a 4, but 15 rounds of 9mm hollow-point ain't too bad for Social Work.)

S&W 642 with CT grips in .38 Spl, usually in a dedicated carry purse.

A moderately heavy purse

I imagine that has a lot of stopping power to it!

My wife carries a Kel-Tec P32 loaded with FMJ in her purse, as well as OC spray. Around the house, she will probably start using the M&P 9C we bought last week.

My dear leader... I mean wife bought a SKYY 9MM... it is a piece of SH.. poop. It doesn't even work well as a paper weight.:cuss::cuss:

The Skyy is at the factory for the 3rd time.

She recently bought a Taurus Millenium .40 cal. in desert tan (had to have desert tan).

I bought a man purse to carry my XDM .40, and my wife is sweet enough to carry my purse for me at times. She says she doesn't want me to look gay... I tell her to quit dressing me up in skirts and make up (haha).

She is new at concealed carry (lifetime permit).

Only saw a couple of references to the M&P 9mmC. I'm looking at this for my wife, and my Mom has indicated a desire for training and a handgun. Any more input on the M&P for the ladies?

Just too new?

Steve

@SWDoc,
Like all the S&W's, the M&Ps are just a bit too big for me (using the small grips helps, but not enough). And the compact, only an inch smaller each way than the full size, was well outside my maximum size range.

But a friend carries the full-size if she's dressed for it and really loves it as a range gun. She's the one who convinced DH to get his.

I carry this

in a SmartCarry, Wilson Featherweight IWB, or Maxpedition Versipack depending on circumstances. Always carry two reloads.

I have a Commander-size Wilson custom build in the pipeline that will probably become my daily carry once it arrives.

If I absolutely can't find a way to conceal the 1911, I fall back to this

also with two reloads.

3 inch S&W mod 36,older pin barrel mod with a Bianchi grip that simulates the bodyguard by making it a hump back. Snag proofs the hammer and you can still cock it. She also has a East German Makarov, Sig 239 9mm and a Sig 225.
