80k is a great price, for me as a big bore handgun guy the #5 is the Bee's knees. If I were rich that sucker would be on my hip as we speak , not in the safe .The Keith #5.

For those who might not know, the gun was auctioned just a few years ago. I did not happen to have a spare $80,000 at the time.

Imo the only plastic guns that have a bit of soul are stainless steel synthetic stocked guns.My Smith & Wesson 686 plus. Plastic guns have no soul.
My FAL would disagree with you.Imo the only plastic guns that have a bit of soul are stainless steel synthetic stocked guns.
I'm talking about guns, the FAL isn't a gun. It's an expertly designed work of art, it's way beyond the small fry we call "guns"My FAL would disagree with you.
Off the top of my head, I think I'd like to have a nice double rifle chambered in 375 H&H or 416 Rigby. I have no real use for one, and I'll probably never own one, but I guess that's what makes a 375 or 416 double my "spirit gun."What's y'all's spirit gun ?
Meaning which gun do you absolutely love, or a gun you really wish you had but probably never get.
Mine is the hoeing rotary round action rifle, but re-chambered for 375 H&H
Someone in my family has a WWII take home one of those.View attachment 911976
