My first centerfire is a Winchester 100. Still shoots accurately and the Bushnell "command post" scope on a tip off mount is still good after 30 yrs. Love my M1-A but the first love still holds a place-lol,wc

Well, it's not *exactly* a .308, but it kinda is - a "No. 6 Jungle Carbine" replica - a 2A Ishapore cut down to look like a No. 5 Jungle carbine, with an Ashley Outdoors scout mount & NC Star scout scope. Not a hard decision since it's now my *only* one.
First of all I want to introduce myself. We are a German rifle and pistole manufacture based in Paderborn.
I saw a thread of one of our rifles here, the SWS-2000 DSB. If I read the different opinions I got one idea:
Some of you wrote the the biggest problem is the missing distributor for our products. Here you are completely right. So if anybody has an idea of a company which is interested in working together with us - please send me an email!
One point more:
We are able to build "nice" rifles, too!
Please have a look to the attached photo!
I just love the G3 platform ... standing and banging steel rapid fire always puts a smile on my face. This PTR-91 is mine, custom camo job by me, I call it Swamp Thing. Bill Springfield trigger job too, which made a HUGE difference. And I think he only charged me $55, and covered return shipping.
Toss up.. that's laymen for I can't make up my mind between the M40-1A5 or the M21(M1A)-
Probably the M40...because it cost me sooo damn much and I don't shoot it as much as my old, slapped out M24 and I feel guilty.
It seems like all of the fun and sweetest shooting rifles are .308 caliber. I have a sweet spot for the FAL, as well as the M1A. Going to wait out this panic and grab one...or both.
