What other companies could learn by studying RCBS!

I had to call RCBS Customer Service today. I had an issue with a die locking ring set screw. The parts guy I talked to was awesome. He treated me nicely. Spoke to me like I was intelligent. Apologized for the inconvenience. He said he'd put 6 replacements in the the package in case it happened again. I talked to a real person who wasn't working off a script. Just a company representative talking to a customer.

What a stark contrast to the (unfortunately) typical customer service experiences we get in other areas like TV companies, cell phone companies, internet service companies, etc.

I love that company.

Absolutely agree! RCBS support is awesome - never a problem and they are willing to help and send out extra parts immediately! They have sent me parts for 30+ year old equipment... I haven't had Dillon stuff as long, but they are of the same caliber as RCBS on calls or emails that I have sent them. It really is refreshing that some companies still provide this kind of support!

I cannot help but +1 on RCBS' CS. I misplaced the large primer plunger assembly for my bench-mounted priming tool and I e-mailed RCBS asking how much for a replacement- they sent me BOTH large and small assemblies, gratis.

GOOD folks there.

RCBS has been good to me too for 30+ years, but when it comes to their electronic items they don't stand behind it at all after the warranty which is short.

Ok Rule3, I asked RCBS CS if the square primer tray for the hand priming tool would fit my old hand primer (more than willing to buy it, just asking if it would fit) they said no need to buy they sent me one. I asked why the color change in powder hopper for Uniflow and if my 30 year old Uniflow was same specs, they sent me a new hopper and new cap type (and he said now you have a new one!). 30 year old 44 mag dies, bent depriming pin assembly (not depriming pin) by turning in RCBS turret press ,with ram up, I asked for part number for assembly (I couldn't find in manual), they sent a new one! Should I go one...

Another Attaboy for RCBS

Because of poor lighting I honestly thought that a small part was missing on my press. After I called RCBS and explained my wrongly perceived problem, the tech said that in all his years there that this never happened before :what: and without missing a beat he said he was sending the part to me.

Three days later is was in my mailbox and when I tried to install the part, it wouldn't fit because the original one was in the way!

The tech knew I was wrong, but to reinforce my faith in RCBS he sent it anyway. Good products and great service.

I had a hand primer that the lid would't stay tight and allowed primers to flip over if not careful. I called RCBS to see how to prevent this and a week later I had a brand new, improved model at my doorstep. :D

After I sent in my 30 year old beam scale(would not hold zero) CS sent me back a brand new beam scale. They said they could not get it to hold zero either. Great company.
