Where can I find a barrel to go on an Ithaca 37 with 3" chamber? Must also be threaded for chokes. Length - 24-28" +/-

I figured that there would be some factory aftermarket stuff floating around out there, but I can find nothing........

Thanks RC. Is there anyplace that sells used or takeoff barrels for Ithaca's?

i,m not sure when they made 37mag 3" barrels with the choke system, i have a 37 mag,but it came with a improved clyinder barrel, but i found a ithaca 87 three inch barrel with the choke system, takes winchester, mossberg and browning invect chokes. and it works fine. eastbank.

Used is as exspensive as new......and about the same price as BPS barrels......

Yes.

Thats why I suggested Ithaca in the first place.

It might even fit and work right when you get done paying for it!!!

Barrel Fit on Ithaca 37

I recently bought a new barrel for my Ithaca M37 16ga. from Ithaca. While the gun is post-interchangeable barrel design (serial #969XXX), when I asked about buying the barrel with the Ithaca guys, I got the following email message from Jeremiah Logsdon at Ithaca Gun:

The new barrels that we offer will fit your model 37 but there may be a headspacing adjustment necessary. We offer the fitting process free of charge when you send the gun in for the order. Please send the gun with the original barrel so any adjustments necessary can be completed to be compatible for both barrels

BTW, the service from these guys (Service Manager, Zak Amert) was outstanding, the quality of work was excellent, and I am not afraid to recommend them to anyone, for any work on an Ithaca gun!

Numrich vs. Ithaca for Barrels

I just went onto the Ithaca website Store - New 12ga. barrels are $225 for non-ribbed, and $249 for ribbed barrels. Numrich is quoting mostly $269.00 today, so why not go to the Source and get a new barrel with a warranty? (Both will have shipping charges added).

The Ithaca 37 and Ithaca 87 are the SAME shotgun. Ithaca changed the name to sound more modern, then changed it back when they figured out the M-37 was a known name and brand. All parts interchange and they are the exact same gun, just different markings.

same a mossberg, winchester and browning invita standard,(NOT invicta plus). eastbank.
