That pretty much says it all. What do you guys carry for your defense rounds.

My current .357Sig load is the Winchester Ranger 125 grain - flies @ 1350 fps and hits with a good 506 ft. lbs of energy.

My next box of defense ammo for the .357Sig will be one of the following:

1.) Corbon Traditional JHP 110 grain .357Sig @ 1500 fps / 575 ft. lbs.

2.) Double Tap Ammunition GDHP 115 grain .357Sig @ 1550 fps / 614 ft. lbs.

3.) Corbon Pow'R Ball 100 grain .357Sig @ 1600 fps / 568 ft. lbs.

4" barrel for all of those numbers. Gotta love that .357Sig!

:D

I'll second the Winchester Ranger SXT. It has outstanding terminal ballistics, and at 1350 fps, also the same recoil characteristics of FMJ practice ammo.

I love the Ranger SXT ammo. I have never had one issue with the SXT's. Overall through all of my training with each one of my handguns, I have not had one failure or one hangfire. The ballistics on these rounds are very impressive as well. I trust them enough to protect my life with them.

I load mine with 125gr Gold Dot's for on and off-duty, same as Aroostook County S.O. and the Maine Warden's Service. I believe it is pretty much the standard duty load for most dept's that carry .357sig.

SPEER GOLD DOTS

Yup ... me too! I carry 125gr. Speer Gold Dots on duty and off.

Sometimes 230 grainers in my Glock 30 if I'm in the mood for the .45 :)
