Boyd's does too!!!

Ben Shepard--My 6th edition Boyd's catalogue lists no less than FIVE different stocks they make to fit the 1903 Springfield. Sporter stocks for military rifles are a major source of Boyds' bread and butter.

They'll send you a catalogue for the asking. Contact info: Boyd's Gunstock Industries, Inc, 25376 403rd Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301. Phone: 605-996-5011. Fax: 605-996-9878. Website: www.boydsgunstocks.com

Boyd's is very much used to helping newbies with the selection process, and talking them through any glitches. Their 'phone people are great.

My experience is chronicled here: www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=433568&highlight=Progress+report if it is of any help.

Smokey Joe-

Am I missing something? On their website they only show one, and it's a replacement for the full length military one?

Catalogue...

Ben Shepard--Call the Boyd's people. (You do that on your nickel, but then, you're the one with the question.) They are VERY helpful over the 'phone, and they will send you their latest catalogue.

When I got my stock for the Yugo M-48, it wasn't in their catalogue, but it sure is on my rifle.

Just glancing through my Boyd's catalogue, I notice that they also do custom duplicating of your stock. So that's another option.

Call 'em.
