Why liberals should love the 2nd ammendment

I seem to be posting a lot of articles. I think its irking some of the mods because it doesn't get discussion going about guns. But you gotta read this, I haven't enjoyed an article like this in a while. And maybe just maybe, we can talk about the merits of the article... how to use some of these points to pursaude our friend that are 'on the fence' about guns?

Lets try to stay away from politics, yeah?

I've been thinking along the same lines (as the article). I even go so far as to say that Arizona has some of the most "liberal" gun laws in all the nation. And as one of the members of this forum has on their signatures, "the road to hell is paved with gun grabbing liberals". Maybe when the time comes that's what they'll be doing or trying; as they lived their lives opposed to the notion of individuals owning and possessing firearms, practicing what they preach and refusing to own firearms, when the time comes that they need to defend themselves against something other than ideas (perhaps a drug addict they felt should be let free), they'll be reaching for guns that aren't there.
