I just received a recorded call from Wisconsin Gun Owners, urging me to call Representatives John Steinbrink, Terry Van Akkeren, and Amy Sue Vruwink and tell them to oppose the Personal Protection Act. Why they think Amy Sue Vruwink is a potential "flip" is beyond me.

At any rate, they say the bill contains "dangerous gun control provisions" and "infringes on your right to keep and bear arms."

They further call it a "gun control bill" that is "a wolf in sheep's clothing."

I have to give them credit: they're spending a lot of dollars trying to keep us disarmed.

Are we sure these guys aren't a closet anti group? It just isn't plausible that any pro-gun group could be so dense and counterproductive.

I've already taken a ruler to the knuckles over the WGO once today. All I can say is that I'm glad they've proven to only be a cipher, if anything at all, in the debate so far...

Otherwise, I'll pass on this one. :)

They're a closet anti group. If they had real, sensible objections, I may not have this opinion.

Proof is in the rhetoric. Check it out. :barf:
